With winter approaching, here are some tips for snowy, icy conditions in the facility. During winter months, try to plan on visiting your unit during clear weather and during the daylight hours. Mid-morning to before dusk are optimal times. Conditions can make the gate freeze closed, as well as your unit door, due to freezing temps, wind, and moisture. If you do need to make a trip to your unit during inclement weather, do your best to visit during business hours. Call ahead to check on pathway conditions. If you would like some ice melt to be placed in front of your door, please let us know ahead of time of your visit. There will be a shovel located near the office door if you need to utilize it. We will do our best to keep your unit accessible but please give us time to clear the facility of snow. As always, it is imperative if you plan to vacate that you give notice, especially during winter months, so your unit can be a priority if a snowstorm occurs. Remember to wear winter boots or shoes as ice is a common presence in our region. Most of all remember to enjoy the beauty of winter!
